During Tirana Planning Week 2024 (TPW24), our roundtable discussion stands out as a source of shared knowledge and practical conversation among the intellectual enthusiasm. This roundtable aims to facilitate meaningful discussions among professionals, researchers, and academics from many disciplines, centered around the topic of “Urban Sustainability and Resilience in the face of 21st-century challenges.” Centered on the need of urban resilience, this roundtable aims to examine cooperative approaches that might strengthen cities against the many challenges of the modern day.
Building on the multidisciplinary nature of TPW24, this roundtable
encourages participants to explore the interconnected areas of formal
sustainability, economic resilience, social inclusion, environmental stewardship,
and effective governance. Our goal is to discover new and creative methods,
exchange the most effective strategies, and establish valuable relationships
that go beyond the limits of different fields of study.
